Born and raised in Mangum in the southwestern corner of the state where the sky is big and it’s easy to watch the thunderstorms roll; I married a gal from the opposite corner of the state, where the trees are thick and tall and rivers flow freely.
We made a 10 year journey out of Oklahoma and ended up in various places such as Philadelphia, PA, Sonoita, AZ, Antigua, Guatemala and Durango, Mexico. Great time of travel, study and cross cultural experiences, but in 1995 it was time to return home.
Since then we’ve lived in Hinton, Talihina, and now Broken Bow. All of Oklahoma is great and full of friendly people, unique places to visit, and most of all: home.
