I grew up in Cherokee and earned my Bachelor’s from OSU in 2004. After graduation, I moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area for my first job. While in Texas, I worked in the construction industry and became very active in professional associations.
While attending a conference in Houston I met up with some people from Tulsa-based Flintco. I decided I was ready to come back home and accepted a job with the company.
The corporate environment enabled me to start a subsidiary for my family’s business. I was selected as the first client at the new business development incubator at Autry Technology Center in Enid, OK and have become very focused on sustainable development, construction and design. I continue to strive for personal and professional development and recently became a LEED Accredited Professional.
The people of Northwestern Oklahoma have been very supportive since I moved back back. In fact, I have been able to aid the start of the Greater Enid Young Professionals group. I am very excited to be able to bring everything I’ve learned home because I’m proud of my state and all the opportunities it provides. I would not hesitate to encourage others to come back and experience all that Oklahoma has to offer. I’ve learned from personal experience that the grass is greenest at home.
